Cabela’s Now Allowing Online Firearms Ordering

Cabela’s will now allow customers to order firearms online and have them delivered to any Cabela’s store in the United States to purchase. This obviously adds a great deal of convenience to purchasing a gun, however ALL local, state and federal laws and residency rules still apply to any Cabela’s firearms purchase.

Cabela’s released the following statement:

Cabela’s Incorporated, the World’s Foremost Outfitter of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, announced today that customers can now order new firearms online at http://www.cabelas.com and have them shipped for free to a Cabela’s store in the United States for purchase.

The program gives Cabela’s customers access to the company’s online selection of new handguns and long guns, and ensures better firearms availability, while enhancing a seamless customer experience.

All local, state and federal laws and residency rules must be followed; and all paperwork/electronic files, including the Firearms Transaction Record, Form 4473, must be filled out, submitted to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) and approved before a customer will be allowed to purchase a firearm.

Customers denied by the NICS will not be allowed to purchase the firearm they ordered.
