Video: Ice Fishermen Witness ‘High Speed’ Chase on a Lake

It was just another night on a frozen lake in Chisago City, Minnesota, when this group of ice fishermen almost found themselves on an episode of Cops.
The incident was captured on a cell phone, when the Chisago County sheriff’s office responded to calls of a drunk man towing his kids around on Green Lake behind his SUV. When a deputy drove out onto the lake to talk with the man, he fled across the icy lake with his kids still in the car.
The sheriff’s office said the man stopped after driving off the lake, but didn’t comply to orders of the pursuing officer. He was eventually arrested for driving under the influence, and fleeing in a motor vehicle.
