Video: Do You Agree with this ‘Rocks vs Glocks’ Opinion on the U.S./Mexico Border?
OutdoorHub Reporters 04.06.17
Republican Congressman Clay Higgins of Louisiana would like to clear up a few things regarding the Mexican border and the agents who guard it.
First, let’s get to know Mr. Higgins a little better. Higgins served in the United States Army as a Military Police Corps and United States National Guard for 6 years. You might have even seen videos he made for Crime Stoppers back in 2015, where he received his nickname the “Cajun John Wayne.”
By now, you’ve probably heard “news reports” complaining about Border Patrol returning fire on immigrants for throwing rocks at them.
See, what those reports fail to portray is that those rocks are actually more like small boulders and could severely injure or kill someone. For that reason, Border Patrol is forced to cruise around in reinforced armored vehicles to protect themselves.
Also, when they say “returned fire,” they just so happen not to mention officers do so with “less than lethal weapons,” although Mr. Higgins seems to have a different approach in mind . . .
Do you agree with Congressman Clay Higgins’ suggestion here?
