“We’re excited to once again have a president who respects the Second Amendment,” an NRA spokeswoman said.
After being endorsed for President last May by the National Rifle Association, Donald Trump has agreed to speak at the NRA’s upcoming annual convention in Atlanta.
During his campaign, Trump frequently spoke out in support of the Second Amendment and against “gun free zones.” Trump’s Supreme Court Judge Neil Gorsuch is well known for backing the right to carry guns.
The NRA is ecstatic about President Trump’s appearance on April 28.
