Video: Monkfish Tries to Swallow Diver’s Entire Arm

There’s not a lot of details as to what exactly happened, but this is our best guess:
The diver was likely diving for clams and swimming near the bottom, where some fish like to hide under the sand or in rocky areas, and this monkfish mistook his hand for prey.
We already know monkfish have some gnarly teeth, but apparently they don’t like to let go of their food when they get a hold of it, either! This guy found that out when he became the subject of this terrifying video, where it looks like this fish is trying to eat this man alive.
