Much like a chain, your walleye spinner rigs (crawler harness) are only as good as your weakest link. Store-bought spinners can work fine, but building your own ensures much better components for less money than a stock model.
Line, beads, hooks, blades and clevises are all available in different grades and types. And properly hooking up the crawler is just as important as having good hooks. Check out the video to see how I hook crawlers to ensure they run straight and look natural to monster walleyes.
