The U.S. Army recently made a big move, swapping out their old standard-issue pistol – the Beretta M9 – for the Sig Sauer P320 after it won the Modular Handgun System competition, which is designed to see how firearms stack up against one another so the Army could make an educated and thought-out decision. The victory for Sig Sauer resulted in a deal worth $580 million with the world’s strongest military force.
