Review: YETI’s New Hopper Flip 18

We all know YETI coolers are great. They are legendary for keeping ice seemingly forever. They are tough as nails, and I have certainly abused mine by dragging them all over the world, but they seem to be bulletproof. My YETI Hopper Flip 12 has emerged as my favorite, but the company has just come out with a Hopper Flip 18, and it may just be the best thing since sliced bread.

The Flip 18 holds 16 pop or beer cans with a 2:1 ice to can ratio, and is only 15 2/3 inches wide, 12 3/5 inches tall and 10 1/5 inches deep. In other words, it holds a lot for its size. It has the wide-mouth opening for easy access, the 100 percent leakproof Hydrolok zipper, and the ultra-tough Dryhyde shell that is waterproof, as well as being resistant to mildew, punctures and UV rays.

It has all the things I have grown to love in my Hopper 12, but it’s a little bigger and will hold a little more. You really need to check this one out.
