Video: Roy Moore Flashes Firearm at Campaign Rally in Support of Second Amendment

Roy Moore believes in the Second Amendment, and he’s got a heck of a way of showing it too. . .

As the race for the hotly-contested U.S. Senate Republican primary heats up, Roy Moore has been subjected to several negative ads depicting him as a candidate who’s against gun rights, and he hasn’t taken very kindly to that.

“It’s been very hard for my wife and myself to weather two, nearly three months of negative ads that we couldn’t answer with money because we didn’t have it,” Moore said, according to WAAYTV.

His opponent on the other hand, Luther Strange, has been pouring millions into his campaign, and has been endorsed by the NRA.

During a Monday night campaign rally in Fairhope, Alabama, Moore used the opportunity to try and clear the air on where he stands on guns, but did he go too far?

As he spoke on stage, Moore insisted, “the ads are completely false that I don’t believe in the Second Amendment,” he said as he pulled a gun from his hip, “I believe in the Second Amendment.”

Joining Moore at the rally, was former White House chief adviser Steve Bannon, former United Kingdom Independence Party leader and Brexit advocate Nigel Farage and Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson.

“I know what guns do,” Moore added, “Guns don’t kill people. People kill.”

So, while Moore attempted his rebuttal against the anti-gun accusations cast upon him, we ask you, other pro gun advocates, how do you feel about Moore flashing his firearm to prove his point?
