UFC Fighter Valentina Shevchenko Poses in Photo Shoot for Sure Shots Magazine

After her vicious fight against Priscila Cachoeira ended in a victory, Valentina Shevchenko poses for a photo shoot to appear in Sure Shots Magazine.

The veteran UFC fighter from Krygyzstan, as you’ll see, is no stranger to guns. She’s been around them much of her life, and even shoots competitively alongside being a professional MMA fighter.

On top of all that, she’s known around the UFC as “the Bullet.” Definitely not someone to mess with!

So, with all that in mind, it makes perfect sense that Sure Shots Magazine would want to feature Shevchenko in their upcoming issue. Beyond that, she just looks fabulous with a gun in her hand:

Here she is running a few firearm drills:

In 2016, Shevchenko was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and found herself caught in a shootout at a restaurant in Peru. Her coach risked his life to defend her, and was shot by one of the robbers. He reportedly made a full recovery.

Here is a statement released by Shevchenko folllowing the incident:

Thank you so much dear friends for all the moral support in this very hard time that I and my family are going through!

On Sunday my coach master Pavel risked his life to defend me and the people that I was having dinner at the local restaurant.

I was at the back of the restaurant, and I’ve seen how the thieves went from table to table hitting the diners and snatching their belongings without anyone being able to help them. When they were getting closer towards our table, Pavel acted very determined and bravely.

If criminals would have found the gun he was carrying they would have thought that he was a cop, and very likely that they would have killed him with his own gun.

The Act of Pavel was not only in self-defense, but also the defense of my life and also of the people who were by my side!

Now Pavel is recovering thanks to God!
