Video: ‘Beastly’ Shark Appears from the Deep to Chomp Another Shark

A group of deep sea anglers fishing off the coast of Florida captured video of the moment a “beastly” shark appeared from the deep and bit off the tail of the shark they already had hooked.

The video, which UPI reports was filmed off the coast of Miami, Florida, shows a fishing guide reeling in a big bull shark while other members of their party watch in amazement.

The group was originally fishing for tarpon, but when they hooked a shark, the guide saw an excellent opportunity to snag some once in a lifetime photos for the group. But before they could take any photos, an even bigger “beastly” shark showed up, and chomped its tail clean off.
