A live shot during a news segment in Utah was interrupted by a surprise special guest which left some debating: Did a mountain lion photobomb her segment? Or was it something else?
KUTV’s Morgan Saxton shared footage of the encounter on Twitter, asking others to weigh-in to help identify the animal:
Terrifying 😱 A dog, maybe a mountain lion, made it’s TV debut during my morning live shot!!! What animal do you think this it is? pic.twitter.com/gklGAGHH5e

Saxton’s video has officially become the next ‘yanny or laurel’ debate, as folks have been engaging in a spirited argument in the comment section of her tweet. The owner of a dog even came forward and claimed it was her four legged friend who stole the show, but what do you think?
MYSTERY SOLVED: The owner of this camera-friendly fella just sent us a picture of their pup who made it’s way into my live shot this morning. Come back anytime! #talkofthetown pic.twitter.com/CyECb9qKKQ

After watching the video several times, we’re sticking with team mountain lion on this one.
I know @UtahDWR says that they’re pretty sure it’s a dog, but it doesn’t look like any dog we’ve ever seen. What do you think? #ProvoParks
