Poacher Busted After She Flaunted Illegal Hunting to Game Warden on Dating App

A woman in Oklahoma is facing thousands of dollars in fines after she unknowingly flaunted illegal hunting to a game warden on a dating app.

It was typical small talk that suddenly turned into a slam dunk confession when the Oklahoma woman bragged to a man on Bumble how she had “just shot a bigo buck.” What she wasn’t aware of, was that she had just flaunted her illegal kill to a local game warden. The woman bragged about using a spotlight to shoot the deer (which is illegal in the state of Oklahoma) and even sent pictures of the deer to the game warden, who later tracked her down on social media and was able to determine her general location.

The next day, officers showed up at her home and discovered the poached buck on her property.

The Oklahoma Game Wardens posted the conversation along with photos to their Facebook page, which you can read below:

As Game Wardens our personal lives are often blurred into our professional lives. This is often the case when it comes to social media, personal cell phones, and now dating apps….

Game Warden Cannon Harrison (McIntosh County) shares the following photos.

The woman he was conversing with on a dating app revealed she had just killed a “Bigo” buck. Obviously not knowing Cannon is a game warden her date night took a turn for the worst!

Oklahoma Game wardens arrived at the property she killed the deer and made the illegal deer case. She has already pled guilty and paid multiple fines.

Thanks to Warden Harrison for sharing this entertaining case!

Now, I know what you’re thinking, but should we really expect more from a poacher?

According to Tulsa World, the woman faces $2,400 in fines for the possession of an illegally taken animal and shooting a deer out-of-season.
