SHOT Show 2019: Rite in the Rain
Terry Nelson 01.28.19
Most folks have heard of Rite in the Rain. But perhaps you have not or have never used their products. Bottom line they have some really cool stuff when it comes to outdoor writing materials. The company is based in Tacoma Washington and has been in business for over 100 years which says something if you ask me.
When attending SHOT Show I always make sure I get over to the Rite in the Rain booth and this year was no different. As you would expect the company has come out with some very useable new products. All of the items from Rite in the Rain are durable and weatherproof.
New offerings that would interest any sportsmen, military personnel, law enforcement officer, or others include;
–Annual Rifle Training Data Book, designed specifically for the USMC but could be used by any serious rifle shooter. Book has vital reference and practice information.
–Thin Blue Line Notebook, designed for the law enforcement officer and the need for legally defensible note taking in the field.
–Dope Logbook, designed for recording data of your precision rifle.
–Blaze Orange Notebook, designed for high visibility in the field and work environments.
–Storm Sight Shooting Targets, all weather targets designed with high visibility in mind and to withstand harsh weather.
–All Weather “Flat Dark Earth Pen”, designed to write upside-down in extreme temperatures and even wet conditions.
Many of these products are available now or will be in the first quarter of 2019. All are reasonably priced in the $10 to $20 dollar range. This list is just a few of the new items this century old company has to offer. You can find these products on the company’s website, RiteintheRain.com.
