Raise the Roof: Moose Found Stuck on Carport Roof in Canada

A moose on a roof in British Columbia caused a little stir up, and a whole lot of confusion after a man discovered the animal standing on top of a carport roof with no clues as to how it even ended up there.
Stop us if you’ve heard this Dr. Seuss riddle before..
According to the news report below, a man getting out of his car apparently heard a strange noise above his head, and was flabbergasted when he saw what it was.. a moose perched on the roof of a carport!
The man then preceded to do what any one of us in this bizarre situation would have done.. he reached for his cell phone and started recording.
Unfortunately, we’re sort of left in the dark detail wise with this news report, as there’s no mention about how the heck the moose got up there in the first place!
And by the time authorities showed up, the moose had apparently already descended from its perch..
My guess is the moose likely left some sort of clue behind in the snow surrounding the carport, but we may never know for sure. The one thing I would like to know, however, is how exactly you extract a moose from a roof?
