Hank Williams Jr. is Now Offering $6K Reward for Grandpa’s Missing Shotgun

Do you know all the words to every Ol’ Bocephus song? Well, perhaps you can help the county artist locate his grandpa’s missing shotgun.
Alabama native and Award-winning country music artist, Hank Williams Jr., is on the hunt for his grandpa’s old Remington 11/48 16-gauge shotgun, and he’s offering a cash reward to whoever helps track it down.
Originally, the award was set for $5000, but has since been bumped to $6000 for the person who comes forward.
Hank Williams Jr.’s attorney posted this message on Facebook:
“NEW AND IMPROVED OFFER TO HELP FIND THIS SHOTGUN!!! The money is still there plus a $1000 finders fee to whoever can put me in touch with the gun. There is no suggestion that the shotgun was ever stolen and NO RISK of any follow-up after a successful recovery. It was probably lost when Hank moved from Cullman to Paris–possibly from his cabin on Smith Lake. If the finder would prefer a gun or guitar I’m sure that can be arranged with a proper certificate of authenticity. My email is steve@smithandsmithllp.com

According to CBS 42, Smith is confident somebody has the gun.
“We are hoping someone has it and likes to show it off on the weekends like,’Hey! this is Hank’s gun!’,” Smith stated.
If that happens to be the case, Smith claims Ol’ Bocephus himself would also sweeten the deal with a brand-new gun, a pair of boots, an old hat, and some Jim Beam and Ruger apparel.
The shotgun reportedly belonged to Williams Jr.’s maternal grandfather, “Grandfather Sheppard”, so you can just imagine the sentimental value it holds.
