Video Captures Enormous Dolphin Pod Stampeding Along California Coast

Dazzling video footage shows an enormous dolphin pod “marching” up the coast just off Laguna Beach, California.

The incredible scene was witnessed by cameraman Chuck Patterson, who was filming some buddies hydrofoil surfing out at sea.

“Noooo way, they are going off! So sick!” Patterson can be heard saying in the video, hooting for the enormous dolphin pod as they maintained speed with the boat. “They came out of nowhere,” he said. “They looked like they were going down the coast and kind of hooked up with us to go up the coast. We were by ourselves the whole time. It was really cool.”

Patterson’s video, featuring a hazy Laguna Beach backdrop, was posted to his Facebook page earlier this week:
