NEW Springfield Armory Hellcat 9mm: World’s Highest Capacity Micro-Compact

Springfield Armory appears to have done it again! They have been teasing all of us now for close to 1 month on social media about how they were going to drop a NEW “class leading firearm” today, and now it is finally here. The Springfield Armory Hellcat 9mm, the world’s highest capacity micro-compact, can come out and take a bow. This pistol is able to hold more rounds of 9mm in a frame that is only 1″ wide than any other firearm on the market.

The SIG Sauer P365 and P365XL have been the darling of the firearm world with their high capacity and ultra-small size, but Springfield Armory looks to have usurped them from that throne with the Hellcat. It is currently being offered in a standard model as well as a Hellcat OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) that will be accepting of micro red dots. While the ability to add a red dot to the Hellcat OSP is truly a striking feature the other most eye-catching trait about the Hellcat is its new Adaptive Grip Texture™ that looks to replace the former GripZone that we all loved/hated so much. With a microscopic design of different shaped pyramids you get a strong tactile feel to the firearm. As if the option of a red dot and Custom Shop quality stippling were not enough Springfield Armory has poured over the Hellcat with quite a few more subtle upgrades as well.
