Canadian Woman Forgets Colliding with Moose that Broke Her Neck

Following a near-fatal collision with a moose on a Canadian highway, a woman drove her car the remaining 25 miles to work with her windshield flattened and her car roof peeled away. Most interestingly, Michelle Higgins doesn’t even remember any of it happening – she lost all recollection of the incident as she continued along the Trans-Canada highway to her job. She arrived on time, but not unscathed. The moose that sailed through Higgins’s windshield left a hoof-shaped bruise on her forehead and she arrived at work bleeding profusely and with two broken neck bones. The moose died on impact.
She had no idea what had happened until a co-worker rushed out to her panicking and asking if she was okay. Higgins didn’t even realize she was bleeding, nor did she realize the state her car was in until the co-worker pointed it out. She couldn’t explain what had happened and it wasn’t until detectives discovered moose hair, the hoof mark on Higgins’s forehead, and a dead moose that they pieced the entire incident together. Higgins still claims she has no recollection of the accident.
