New Environmentally Friendly Waypoint Collection from Huk

As outdoorsmen and adventurers, we often find ourselves in the position of having to preserve this planet as much as we enjoy it with our hobbies. Equipment and gear often use a lot of non-recyclable or environmentally hazardous materials but where we can we end up using items that will benefit the ecosystems we play in rather than hurt them. Huk has just released a new environmentally friendly collection of clothing with their Waypoint Collection.
New Environmentally Friendly Waypoint Collection from Huk
The new Huk Waypoint Collection features pants, shorts, and shirts all made from partially recycled materials (with the exception of the pants) that are not only environmentally conscious but also comfortable and contribute to comfort while out on the ocean. The Waypoint collection was born out of a collaboration with REPREVE to include recyclable materials into the clothing lineup and pair it with Huks’ unique style. According to Huk, the new Waypoint collection features on average about 9 recycled plastic bottles to create one item of clothing. This blended fabric not only uses recyclable materials but also helps provide flexibility and still maintains shape and fit doing so.
