Introducing the Buckmasters Line of Hunting Optics from SIG Sauer

SIG Sauer Electro-Optics is proud to introduce their latest line of riflescopes and rangefinders with the introduction of the Buckmaster line. The Buckmaster line of riflescopes and rangefinder was inspired by Jackie Bushman – host of the Buckmasters television show all about hunting. SIG Sauer aims to bring their quality optics to all hunters at every level with their new Buckmasters line.

The Buckmasters Rangefinder

The Rangefinder offers a whole host of benefits that are useful to both experienced and new hunters. The rangefinder features a “Buckmasters Mode” which contains 8 onboard ballistic groups so that the rangefinder can indicate which Buckmasters BDC holdover to use with your corresponding riflescope. This means that by pairing up the rangefinder with the riflescope you shouldn’t have to make any guesses about where your holdover should be. The rangefinder makes use of a single CR2 battery, weighs just 5.3 ounces, and can reach out to 600 yards on deer for ranging and up to 1500 yards with a reflective target. The 6X magnification should give you great target identification before you even switch to your riflescope to take the shot. Finally, the Rangefinder is IPX-4 water-resistant so carrying it out in the field should be pretty safe provided you’re not hunting in a thunderstorm. The standalone rangefinder is sold for $179.99.

The riflescope line comes in three different configurations – all with Second Focal Plane reticles. The smallest of the copes features a 3-9x magnification and a 40mm objective lens for short to medium range engagements and is available for $169.99. Carrying the same 3-9x magnification but with a much larger 50mm objective scope, the most expensive option in the Buckmasters lineup is still just $159.99. Finally, a 3-12x magnification with a 44mm objective lens option is also available and sits right in between the two other Buckmasters scopes at $159.99.
