NEW Products From Can-Am for 2022
The Can-Am Maverick X3
For 2022, the Maverick X3 has a little more under the hood; 200 horsepower, to be exact. This power matched with Can-Am’s new pDrive roller clutch system aims to increase performance through quicker acceleration. Adding power can sometimes affect handling. This is why the Maverick X3 uses Smart-Shox adaptive suspension and higher ground clearance to keep you in control. The frame has also been strengthened and it sits on top of 30- and 32-inch Maxxis Carnivore tires.
SPECS
The Rotax HD7/700 ACE
The new Rotax HD7 engine is built to be the lower horsepower engine to beat. The HD7 puts out 37% more power than the HD5. For this reason, it will be replacing the HD5 in the Can-Am Defender and will be at the heart of both the new Commander 700 and the Maverick Trail 700.
The Rotax HD9
Just as the HD7 is replacing the HD5, the Rotax HD9 is replacing the HD8 in the Can-Am Defender lineup. The HD9 is physically larger, and for good reason. It gives the driver 30% more horsepower than the HD8.
Visco-4Lok system
Can-Am is expanding its Visco-4Lok system. For those who are unfamiliar, the system allows riders to instantly provide equal power to all four tires of their ATV with a button push. This system provides users with far more traction when they need it. It will be available on the 2022 Outlander and Renegade X mr packages. It will also be available with the Outlander XT-P, and Outlander MAX Limited.
There are seemingly endless combinations and customization for the Maverick X3 and the other new products from Can-Am. To explore them all, head over to Can-Am’s website.
