Celebrating all that is maritime, the annual Anacortes Waterfront Festival is set for June 2-3 at the Cap Sante Marina in Anacortes, Washington. Bringing together community members and visitors, this year’s festival combines live music, food, an arts-and-crafts fair and a wide variety of family events. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 2 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 3.

A five-mile family ride begins at 10 a.m. All proceeds from the fundraising support North Islands Young Life.
The Hole In The Wall Paddling Club is hosting an educational event in conjunction with the festival. Giving paddling enthusiasts an opportunity to learn about paddling sports, the event offers a wide variety of classroom education and on-water classes. The event will be at Seafarers’ Memorial Park, Saturday and Sunday, and will feature a demonstration by the U.S. Coast Guard Search and Rescue helicopter team.
The festival includes a variety of things to see and do, including car shows, free children’s activities, swap meet, radio-controlled boat races, boat show, walking tour, free boat rides and the first annual Milk Carton Derby.
