St. Vrain State Park Hosts Program on Mammals

FIRESTONE, Colo. – St. Vrain State Park is home to a wide variety of mammals, from meadow voles and deer mice to muskrats and minks. Join our park naturalist for an afternoon of all things mammalian. Learn about the biology, behavior and diet of the different mammals found within the park. This event will take place on Saturday, June 25 at 3 p.m.
Participants should meet at the Camper Services Building near Mallard Pond. The event is free, but all visitors must purchase a parks pass before entering the park. All ages and abilities are welcome. Visitors are asked to please dress in weather-appropriate clothing and to bring plenty of bug spray, sunscreen and water. Visitors should be prepared to spend about an hour walking on an easy to moderate hiking trail.
