Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Your Tent? iKamper’s ReCovery Collection
Luke Cuenco 05.02.23
Up here in the Pacific Northwest, we take pride in reducing our impact on the environment – mostly because we enjoy it so much we don’t want to ruin it! iKamper is a PNW-based business that is very much interested in not needlessly wasting materials that could end up in a landfill somewhere. As part of that goal, they are now excited to introduce to you their first collection dubbed the ReCovery collection which takes unused parts from their highly successful line of rooftop tents and turns them into useable and innovative designs ranging from casual camping use or out in the workshop with their new apron.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Your Tent? iKamper’s ReCovery Collection
Introducing the iKamper ReCovery Collection. Ahead of Earth Day, we believe this thoughtful extension of their innovative designs is worth a look. Everyone has had those days when a rain poncho made from the rain fly material would keep you dry on a drizzling spring night around a campfire. The collection also includes an apron, tote bag and firewood carrier are simple and straightforward uses for durable and water-resistant poly-cotton tent material.
“By giving a second life to unused materials common to our renowned roof top tent lines, we’re not only reducing waste but also creating unique and functional products that tell a story,” said Erik Flink, Director of Marketing and eCommerce at iKamper. “We hope that our customers will join us in this journey towards a more environmentally conscious lifestyle.”
The new iKamper ReCovery collection is available now and ready for order. Each of these new items is made from the remnants of iKamper’s Rooftop tents which means these scraps won’t end up in the dump. In addition to reducing their environmental impact, iKamper has partnered with Tread Lightly, Conservation Alliance, Charity Water, and other non-profits because we want to support like-minded organizations that put words into action.
