Michigan DNR to Host Information Meeting for Duck Lake Fire Area Community

The Department of Natural Resources will host an information meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, in Newberry for community members interested in receiving updates about the fire. The DNR will provide current fire information, updates on structure losses and other topics of interest.
WHAT:
Duck Lake Fire information meeting
WHO:
Fire personnel will be available to answer questions. Incident Commander Rich Ahnen will be present from approximately 6-7 p.m. Cooperating agencies will also be on hand to provide information about homeowner assistance programs, restoration topics and erosion prevention information for property owners near water.
