The new DAIWA 24 KAGE LT Spinning is now available for purchase through DAIWA dealers, this is a new multispecies spinning reel that fully embraces the LT (Light/Tough) reel concept. The 24 KAGE LT sports a ton of features that make it just that: a light and tough reel, starting with the ZAION reel body. Made from woven high-density carbon ZAION resin, the body of the reel is very light, rigid, and durable. Next to keep the reel light is the AIR Rotor, a rigid lightweight rotor design that has been engineered to have minimal flex even under high drag pressures when fighting big fish. On top of the AIR Rotor is the AIR Bail, a lightweight bail system that uses hollow stainless steel tubing that is lighter and more rigid than traditional solid bail wires. On the inside of the reel is the TOUGH Digigear, an oversized gear that is made of hard and lightweight 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum. These gears are precision machined and digitally cut for the best gear meshing possible for a smoother reeling experience.
The new DAIWA 24 KAGE LT is available in five sizes, 1000, 2000, 2500, 3000, and 4000, and has an MSRP of $249.99 to $269.99 depending on the model. These are available now at any Brick and Mortar Daiwa Dealer near you.
