New Series Mountain Men, Produced by Missoula Based Warm Springs Productions, to Premiere on History Channel Tonight

Mountain Men, the groundbreaking new series produced by Warm Springs Productions, will premiere tonight at 10pm Eastern Time on History Channel.
“Living in Montana, we’ve developed a great appreciation for the outdoors,” said Marc Pierce, Managing Partner of Warm Springs Productions. “The characters in this series have that same appreciation and have taken it to the level of living a lifestyle unique in today’s world. I truly think the rugged, secluded livelihood of these characters will be an eye opener for most Americans.”
Mountain Men will follow lives of three modern day mountain men: Eustace Conway of North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, Tom Oar of the Yaak River Valley in Montana, and Marty Meierotto of the northern range in Alaska. The series will chronicle the day-to-day activities they go through to survive and make a living in some of the toughest environments in the country.
Each character makes their living off the land through trapping, tanning, as well as subsisting solely on what they can grow, fish or hunt. As a part of that lifestyle, they’re constantly confronted with the challenges Mother Nature throws at them such as 60 degrees below zero weather, grizzly bears, wolves, and the threat of serious injury while living and working in remote areas a long ways from the nearest hospital.
“It’s great to be able to bring some exposure to a few of the unique and extreme places in our country, particularly to a spectacular part of our home state,” added Chris Richardson, President of Warm Springs Productions. “Our crew has put a lot of hard work into this project and we feel this show is something every viewer will be talking about the next day around the water cooler.”
The crew at Warm Springs Productions has more than 30 years of combined experience hosting, filming and producing hunting, fishing and outdoor adventure television. And since its founding in 2008, the company has experienced meteoric growth and currently produces series for Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, Travel Channel, History, and Discovery Science.
