LaserLyte today announced that after working closely with the engineers at Smith & Wesson, the latest edition of the UTA-SH pistol laser is ready for shipping. The pistol laser has been designed especially for use with the new Smith & Wesson M&P Shield pistols, which were unveiled at the annual NRA show in St. Louis, Missouri last month.
The M&P Shield is Smith & Wesson’s new slim, concealable, lightweight, striker-fired polymer pistol. Available in 9mm and .40 S&W, the new M&P Shield features a slim design combined with the proven and trusted features found in the M&P™ Pistol Series. From the pistol’s easily concealed one-inch profile to its optimized 18-degree grip angle, the M&P Shield offers professional-grade features intended to aide users with simple operation and reliable performance.
The LaserLyte UTA-SH laser for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield™ mounts easily and quickly on the M&P Shield trigger guard and snugs-up securely to the dust cover. It’s simple to activate with the ambidextrous, ergonomic switch. The LaserLyte UTA-SH laser is easily programmable to either constant on or pulse mode. Another great function is the “auto-off” feature that displays a unique flash after 5-minutes of operation and automatically turns the unit off after 6-minutes. In actual usage* the battery life lasts 10-hours in constant on and 20-hours in pulse mode (*actual usage is: 1 min. on and 1 min. off). Made of 30% glass filled nylon and steel mounting hardware. The MSRP is $99.95
