OutdoorHub Reporters 06.15.12
Take a peek at some awesome German skiing stunts from the 1930s edited down from the film Der Weisse Rausch, or The White Flame. It was directed by Arnold Fanck, a German mountain film pioneer who later met political and financial trouble by refusing to join the Nazi party. This edit of Der Weisse Rausch features twin tip skis, a 360 degree turn on flat terrain, skiing on cabin roofs and a fair share of cliff jumping.
