Sportsman HD Gains Distribution with Charter Launches

Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, announced today the launch of Sportsman HD in certain Charter Communications market areas, as part of its ongoing nationwide increase in HD content. Charter recently launched Sportsman HD in its Missouri service area, with additional launches slated for Charter’s Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Minnesota and New England markets this summer.
“Sportsman HD is part of a robust selection of quality HD programming we are adding for our customers’ enjoyment,” said Allan Samson, Charter’s Senior Vice President of Marketing. “Adding a significant amount of new HD content is an important part of our most recent step in the evolution of Charter TV.”
