James M. Robb-Colorado River State Park Offers July Interpretive Programs

FRUITA, Colo. – Summer is on a roll and so are the family interpretive programs at James M. Robb-Colorado River State Park. Join us every Friday evening at 8 p.m. at the Fruita Section for our “Friday Fruita Family Nights” and discover the natural world that surrounds our park and the Colorado River.
Can’t make it out Friday nights? Then join us for our “Hanging with the Family in the Canyon” programs every Saturday evening at 8 p.m. at the Island Acres Section. Wrap up your weekend by sending the kids to the “Sunday Pack-Up Fun Day” at 10 a.m. at the Island Acres Section for an exciting, interactive learning experience!
Program topics for the month of July include: Fire Safety, Frogs, Insects, Animal Tracks, Bats, and much more! All programs are free and open to the general public but a $7 daily vehicle pass or $70 annual pass is required to enter the park. For more information call the Fruita Office at (970) 858-9188.
