The Fowl Life with Chad Belding Goes Duck Hunting in Boise, Idaho to Track Down Mallards

Award winning national television series The Fowl Life with Chad Belding continues its third season on the Sportsman Channel and WILD TV beginning Thursday, July 14, at 2 AM ET. Hosted by renowned hunting guru and outdoorsman Chad Belding, the show takes viewers into the lives of Team Fowl Life as they chase waterfowl throughout the United States and Canada. The team goes behind-the-scenes to call animals such as mallards, puddle and diver ducks, and geese into close range.
Team Fowl Life heads out to hunt mallards with the help of Chad Ryan and Jake Low. Ryan is an expert waterfowl hunter and dog trainer, and Low is an up-and-coming competition duck and goose caller. Ryan and Low lend their expertise and insight to Team Fowl Life in their quest for waterfowl.
“Chad Ryan is one of my best friends, and always has our success at the top of his list,” Belding said. “Jake Low is a new addition to our team and we are happy to have him with us.”
Idaho’s expansive land and lakes are home to many flocks of one of the most recognizable ducks in the world. As the flocks of mallards migrate, Team Fowl Life uses decoys and calls to rein in the fowl for close range.
“There is no doubt that Idaho is one of my top two mallard destinations in America,” said Belding. “Hunting the mallards in Jake’s corn fields was a great experience. We were able to work huge flocks into the decoy spreads with the help of the MOJO Spinning Wing Decoys.”
