Kalkomey Enterprises Names Tammy Sapp Business Development and Communications Director

DALLAS – Kalkomey Enterprises, Inc., the official provider of safety education materials for hunters, boaters, snowmobilers and off-road enthusiasts, named Tammy Sapp director of business development and communications.
Sapp, a 25-year veteran in the outdoor communications field, will work with the media and state agency safety education coordinators to offer enthusiasts the training they need to safely enjoy the outdoors.
Kalkomey Enterprises provides official safety training courses in all 50 states via the internet, video and print. Kalkomey’s online training sites include boat-ed.com, hunter-ed.com, bowhunter-ed.com, snowmobile-ed.com and offroad-ed.com. In addition, Kalkomey offers a suite of safety education publications and materials for outdoorsmen and women interested in learning how to be safer and more knowledgeable.
Sapp has worked as a writer, photographer and public relations professional with a special emphasis on conservation and outdoor recreation. She worked for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation for more than a decade before accepting the challenge to grow the communications department for the National Wild Turkey Federation. As the NWTF’s senior vice president of communications, she supervised the production of several national magazines, television shows, websites and public relations campaigns.
While operating Tammy Sapp Communications, Sapp provided a range of marketing communications, content development and social media services for outdoor companies, agencies and organizations. Currently she serves as an officer on the board of the Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA).
Kalkomey Enterprises works directly with state government agencies and organizations responsible for outdoor recreation safety education to develop state specific Internet-based courses, printed manuals, video courses and more.
