WEST POINT, MS – Mossy Oak along with NRCS, National Association of Conservation Districts, Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, Quality Deer Management Association, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Safari Club International Foundation have joined forces to share the latest innovations for developing, preserving and enjoying America’s rich hunting land through the True North Seminar Summit.
This two-day series is designed specifically for hunters, landowners, and land managers looking to get the most from their properties through wildlife management and habitat development and focuses on four main subject areas:
Wildlife Management – Attract, maintain, and protect the type of wildlife you want on your property. Seminars will explore how to build a strong, healthy population of deer and other desirable fauna, including tracking and culling, while combating predators and disease.
Habitat Management – Develop your property into an ideal habitat for population growth among deer, fowl, and other animals. Seminars will explore how to maximize yield through food plots, plant control, improved property design, and other land enhancement techniques.
Forests, Fields and Wetlands – Bring out the best in mother nature. Seminars focus on conservation of your ecosystem, including the maintenance of trees, grass, soil, and ponds. Explore the latest techniques and best practices for enhancing your property for beauty, sport, and income.
Land Ownership and Assistance Programs – get the most out of your investment. Seminars will explore the best strategies for financing your land, developing income opportunities such as hunting clubs and leases, taking advantage of state and federal dollars for property improvements, and more.
“This is truly a first of its kind event,” said Toxey Haas, founder and CEO of Mossy Oak, “and one that is not only of great magnitude, but deeply aligned with our brand and businesses.”
Hosted by the Gaylord Opryland Resort, Bass Pro, and Ram Trucks the three-day expo features a massive indoor hunting exhibit hall, outdoor equipment test drives, crop demonstrations, kids’ activities and a private concert with Opry Member Craig Morgan and special guest Jeff Foxworthy.
