Man Attends Pheasants Forever Banquet, Takes Home a Gator

Saint Paul, Minn. – August 12, 2011 – Pheasants Forever and Native® Performance Dog Food announce Randy Kempfer of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, as the winner of the 2010-2011 Native® Performance Dog Food Sweepstakes. By obtaining a sweepstakes ticket at his local Pelican River Pheasants Forever chapter banquet, Mr. Kempfer took home the grand prize, a John Deere Gator XUV and 12 40lb bags of Native® dog food. Tickets for the raffle were available through local Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever chapters across the country, and all proceeds raised were kept by each chapter for use in their local wildlife habitat efforts.
“I joined Pelican River Pheasants Forever chapter about four years ago and bought the ticket at our annual banquet to support Pheasants Forever knowing it was going to a good cause,” Kempfer said, “I didn’t think anything of my ticket until I got a call from Steve Ries of Native® dog food, and I was completely shocked.” Kempfer, who is an avid outdoorsman, said he “will have to plan a few more hunting trips this year and put the Gator to use.”
