My main interest is making and writing about making ammo for guns. Specifically making and researching how to make safe ammo and the history of the old guns that I work with. I like a challenge in regards to making ammo for a gun that no ammo exists and reporting about it. I have been doing this for quite a few years and am always obtaining a new (old) gun to play with. I do some modern calibers but to be honest most of them aren’t any better then some of the old standbys. I have written two books and am working on a third which has been recently completed. I am working on a fourth book. I write in the Shotgun News and have sold them four articles recently. Two just got published and two more are in the pipeline as well as another that is ready to go. I am a regular contributor to Guns Australia and write for New Zealand Guns. I also contribute to the Canadian Firearms Journal on a regular basis. I hope to expand my writing as there is a good market out there for people ! who want info on loading, making ammo and shooting the obsolete guns. I have written some product reviews including Bore Paste, Crimson Trace Laser Grips plus Redi Lure and some hunting clothes. Also have done gun evaluations on such guns as Rugers, Savages, Marlins, and Weatherby. Handguns include the Judge and Delta Elite plus the new Diamond back line of handguns. . I am doing and have submitted articles on inline muzzle loaders to various magazines and sites. I also work with Sierra and Hornady bullets as well as Berger. As a member of the Rio Salado Sportsmen’s Club I am their historian. That entails writing articles for their publication about old guns and I am also writing a history of the club. I have also written articles for the Canadian Firearms Journal and am a regular contributor for Guns Australia. New Zealand Guns has also accepted my articles. I write for Handguns.
