I grew up fishing and hunting in north-central Indiana. Through the years I have hunted throughout the Midwest and a time or two out West. I have fished the waters of Alaska and routinely fish the many reservoirs, streams, rivers, natural lakes, and the Great Lakes of the Midwest. I am a registered deer and turkey guide in Illinois and routinely travel to multiple states each year in pursuit of turkeys. I am an award-winning outdoor writer. I also have a beef jerky company.
