"Reel" Good Fishin' Buddies

I've been an avid angler since the age of 4 when my grandmother baited my first hook and refused to do it again. Her efforts to make me a self-reliant outdoorsman set me on a path filled with outdoor and angling adventures. I've pulled pike from the wilderness lakes of Isle Royale, landed "slab" smallmouth bass from Lake St. Clair, boated king salmon out of Lake Huron, tussled with walleye on Lake Erie, and scoured Michigan's many lakes for my preferred species, the largemouth bass. What I love most, though, is sharing my knowledge and passion with others, especially children and those new to the outdoors and angling. I'm happy to be what everyone needs: a "reel" good fishin' buddy.
