Deck the halls with deer shed antlers, fa la la la la, la la la la.
Are you looking to add a little Christmas cheer to your home this year? Eric Chesser from one of our favorite hunting YouTube channels, Hushin, has a great idea.
If you happen to have a pile of shed antlers lying around your house, get them out, stack them up and voila.. a shed antler Christmas tree! After all, what says Christmas better than a pile of deer antler racks? If you’re a hunter, you have to appreciate the way this looks.
Eric used elk sheds, mule deer sheds and even a pair of moose paddles to build his ‘tree’, but whatever you have laying around will work just fine. To finish it off, he places his big Colorado buck on top, and his shed tree is complete.
After you have your shed antler tree up, turn down the lights and plug it in. It’s no Griswold family Christmas tree, but if you’re a hunter, your reaction might be similar to Clark’s once he finally got the lights on his house to come on:
Take a look and see what you think. And if you already have a shed antler tree set up, send in a picture to spread the Christmas cheer!
Happy Holidays, folks!
