The use and construction of sling bows is rapidly gaining popularity. 30 states currently have regulations set up for sling bows and a Illinois lawmakers recently introduced a bill that could allow slingers to go bow fishing. Okay, but how does a sling bow work?
The below video is one creative thinker’s walk-through of how he built his own sling bow. The homemade device is meant to shoot small arrows attached to a line that could be reeled in -hopefully along with your catch. The design seems suitable for catching fish like carp and shad in shallow water.
