Bushnell Outdoor Products Expands Folds of Honor Partnership

Overland Park, Kan. – Bushnell Outdoor Products, a leading provider of sports optics and outdoor accessories for more than 60 years, has announced an expanded partnership with Folds of Honor, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides scholarships to the families of service members disabled or killed in the line of duty.
Bushnell launched its partnership with Folds of Honor in 2010, introducing the Tour V2 Patriot Pack, a special edition golf laser rangefinder and bonus set of accessories. With a portion of each Patriot Pack purchase benefitting Folds of Honor, Bushnell donated more than $87,000 to the organization following the inaugural year.
Founded by Major Dan Rooney in 2007, Folds of Honor provides post-secondary educational scholarships to the spouses and children of service members disabled or killed during U.S. military service. Major Rooney, a former F-16 pilot who served three tours in Iraq, founded Folds of Honor to ensure that families of fallen service members never have to endure alone. Since its inception, Folds of Honor has raised more than $9.8M for scholarships supporting military families.

This year Bushnell is introducing the Scout 1000 Patriot Edition, a limited edition Folds of Honor laser rangefinder package designed for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts. The Patriot Edition includes a Bushnell Scout 1000 ARC laser rangefinder and a special edition Folds of Honor SKINZ protective cover. Each purchase is eligible for a $30 mail-in-rebate, and consumers will have an opportunity to donate the rebate or a portion of the money to Folds of Honor.
