Video: Largemouth Bass Attempts to Swallow Fish as Big as Itself

Proving that gluttony is not just a human vice, this bass wrapped its lips around a similarly sized fish in a textbook case of “biting off more than you can chew.” The angler who shot this video came across both fish, still alive, floating helplessly in the water. Hilariously, he picks up both and proclaims, “Look at this, I just caught two fish.”

The kind angler brings them on board, frees the unlucky victim from the glutton’s mouth, and releases both fish into the water.
