ATI Teams Up with Joe Nemechek for the NRA 500 in Texas

Advanced Technology International (ATI), the leading manufacturer in gun stocks and firearm accessories, announced Tuesday that it will be Joe Nemechek’s primary sponsor under the lights at Texas Motor Speedway this Saturday for the NASCAR Sprint Cup NRA 500, with coverage starting live on FOX at 7PM ET.
Nemechek’s #87 NEMCO-JRR Racing Toyota will be wrapped in a black and red ATI paint scheme that features unique design elements taken from ATI’s trademark branding.
“ATI is extremely excited to be a first-time Sprint Cup Series Sponsor,” said Director of Business Development Jon Shaffer. “We thought there would be no better place to enter this sport than at the Texas Motor Speedway just a few short weeks before the NRA Annual Meeting comes to Texas.”
Shaffer later added that partnering with NEMCO-JRR Racing and a NASCAR icon like “Front Row Joe” is a great opportunity while leaving the door open to future involvement in the series.
With the NRA as the new title sponsor of the 500 mile Texas race, as well as the 2013 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits being held in nearby Houston, the fit seemed natural for ATI.
The National Rifle Association was announced as the title sponsor of the April 13th NRA 500 race at Texas Motor Speedway earlier this year.
