Deer Jumps Through Bus Windshield, Leaves Unharmed

A Pennsylvania doe decided to skip the bus fare Tuesday evening by jumping in through the windshield, according to the Johnstown Tribune-Democrat.

At about 6:30 pm on Goucher Street the driver of a CamTram bus received a shock as the deer came crashing through the windshield. The driver immediately stopped the bus, but the door remained closed.

After taking a second to look around the doe decided she did not want to ride the bus after all. She then began searching for a way out. The bus driver collected himself long enough to open the door, after which the doe promptly walked off of the bus.

According to CamTram spokesman Josh Yoder, neither the driver nor the single female passenger in the back of the bus were injured.
