Video: ‘MeatEater’ Steven Rinella Charged by Moose

Steven Rinella, host of MeatEater on Sportsman Channel, is not unused to looking a meal in the eyes. On this moose hunt in British Columbia, however, the meal looked back.

In the video, Rinella stands near a downed bull moose to deliver the killing shot when his weapon malfunctions. The sound of the empty click brings the animal to its feet, and within seconds Rinella is staring into the face of a creature that could give grizzly bears pause. Watch how it unfolds below:
