New Minn Kota Ultrex: The Best of Both Worlds?

Three days ago in an earlier OutdoorHub story, we showed you a video tease from Minn Kota that hinted toward a new bow-mount trolling motor that was a blend of cable-steer and electric-steer versions, with full GPS capability. Instead of waiting until next week’s 2016 ICAST industry-only fishing show to unveil the motor, Minn Kota decided to let the Ultrex out of the bag today.

Watch the video below to see all the features on the new Minn Kota Ultrex. Now diehard bass anglers who love cable-steer motors can have all the benefits (think Spot-Lock!) of electric-steer motors.
