Video: BOTE Rover is Unlike Any Fishing Vessel You’ve Seen Before

I just returned from the 2017 ICAST show in Orlando, Florida. What’s ICAST? It’s the world’s largest sportfishing trade show; ICAST stands for International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades.
In its 60th year as the industry’s trade show, ICAST is the annual destination for representatives from the global recreational fishing industry to see the latest and greatest in innovations in tackle, gear, accessories and apparel.
At the 2017 ICAST Show, 1,263 products, accessories and apparel were entered by 280 companies into 26 “Best of Category” awards in the New Product Showcase, all vying for the overall ICAST 2017 “Best of Show” award.
As a member of the media, I get the chance to vote in each of the categories, and like picking race horses, it’s always fun when your favorite wins. And that’s exactly what happened this year for the overall “Best of Show.”
The BOTE Rover, which as the video below shows is a crazy-cool hybrid of standup paddleboard and skiff, was voted by buyers and media — like me — as the best product in both the Boat Accessories category and the overall “Best of Show.”
