‘Modern Family’ Actress Takes Heat for Posing with Firearms After Passing Safety Test

Ariel Winter, who you may have seen play the sweet teenager on “Modern Family,” is taking some heat after posing for a picture holding a gun on her hip.
The 19-year-old Hollywood actress had just passed her firearm safety test, and was obviously pretty pumped about it – and for good reason!
She posed for the black-and-white photo on her Instagram account and captioned it: “Prepping for the zombie apocalypse, obviously…💰”
Like we said, Ariel was pretty excited about completing her firearm safety class. Here’s a tweet she posted, which we’re guessing wasn’t long after completing the safety course:

Seeing Winter with a firearm in her hands is something we’re becoming quite accustomed to. If you follow her on Snapchat, you might have caught her impressive display of accuracy in a story she posted back in July.
