Video: Bull Elk Herds Cows Right on Top of Elk Hunters

Talk about being in the right place at the right time! These hunters got more action then they could have ever planned for when an elk herd moved in quite literally on top of them, which made for one epic elk hunting video.
When you hear the expression “covered by elk, or deer,” this is what they’re talking about. What an experience to be so close to such an amazing animal in the wild! Truly a once-in-a-lifetime encounter, and it’s moments like this why we as hunters push ourselves out of bed so early in the morning:

“Probably one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced!! Me and my long time hunting buddy Hill Guides & Outfitters sat here for 15 minutes watching this group of elk do what they do. Watching the bull hearding his cows this close was incredible. I’d say the new #subalpine Sitka Gear is the real deal!!! Who knew elk liked Kifaru, International backpacks too
